Publicity and Marketing
My knowledge in this field isn’t too broad, but I can recommend the following agencies after having worked with them.
Pubvendo has run some very effective campains for both indies and established publishers. They focus on digital/online promotion and can help you develop effective social media strategies to maintain reader engagement on your own.
Girl Friday Productions has many years of marketing experience. They’ve worked with indies and major publishing houses. In fact, many of their staff used to work for the Big Five publishers and major Amazon imprints like Thomas & Mercer.
DartFrog Books specializes in helping indie authors. Their customer service is excellent. One thing that sets them apart from the others in this list is their relationship with physical bookstores. Their marketing page includes a number of options incluing influencer campaigns, book club promotions, video trailers and author websites.
Emily Keough Publicity has done good work for a number of authors.
IndieReader provides a number of marketing tools aimed at digital readers, bookstores and librarians.
Though I have not worked with Reedsy, their resources tend to be knowledgeable and high quality. Reedsy does an excellent job of vetting their providers, who tend to provide top-notch service. If you’re looking for more marketing options, check out their book marketer page.
